Verticalization

  • What is verticalization?

inTandem is a business management solution for SMBs designed to cover a wide range of SMB industries and support a variety of use cases. The platform as a whole is vertical-agnostic and offers users a high degree of flexibility, enabling them to customize the solution according to their workflows.

In order to create a user-friendly environment and an easy onboarding process, several labels, presets, and templates will be customized according to the user’s vertical.
  • How are verticals managed in inTandem?

There are several components that can be impacted by the user’s selected vertical:

    Announcement templates:
Industry-specific templates for email & SMS marketing campaigns featuring messaging & design elements that match the user’s vertical.

    CRM terminology:
While the default term is “Clients”, the label of the CRM will be adjusted according to the user’s selected vertical. For example, the term used for clients in Healthcare accounts is “Patients”, while the term used for Home services is “Properties”, and for lawyers, it will be “Cases”. Users can choose to revert this term back to the default “Clients” or select another term from the list at any time.

    Demo services:
As part of the onboarding process, users will configure their “Service Menu”, a list of services offered by the business. These services will be available for the user’s clients to book and pay for. Instead of presenting an empty state, inTandem will pre-populate several examples of services according to the business’s selected vertical, for example: “Financial consultation” for financial service providers, “In-office check-up” for healthcare, and “Yoga class” for fitness.

    Custom client card fields:
The CRM fields include standard fields such as name, address, and phone number, as well as custom fields that can be defined by the user. For some verticals, Vcita will add industry-related fields to the CRM.

    Client status:
Clients can be segmented according to status. This helps users keep track of clients throughout their lifecycle, customize campaigns accordingly, and view reports of status distribution. These statuses are also impacted by the vertical.
