What to expect from the hiring process
Phone Interview
If you’re reading this then congrats! You’ve already passed the phone interview. This was the quick chat that introduced you to vcita and the position and gave you a chance to introduce yourself, your professional background, salary expectations and career goals.
Hiring Manager Interview
Next, we'll delve deeper into your skills and professional abilities. We’ll want to hear about projects you were involved in, initiatives you brought to fruition, work you conducted and your viewpoint on them all.
Skills Assignment
At this stage, you may receive a task to give you a taste of the daily situations and tasks you'll face in your position and to make sure this is something you feel confident and excited about pursuing.
Advanced Interviews
To get a comprehensive understanding of your fit for the role as well as to give you an opportunity to meet more of our team members, One or more online interviews will be setup in the same day. This can include senior managers, peers or other relevant stakeholders.
HR interview
If you’ve reached this stage, you’re almost at the end! In this interview we’ll talk about your ambitions and motivations throughout your career, we’ll discuss vcita’s culture and DNA and answer any questions you may still have about us and the position. We also do reference and background checks.
Offer
Congrats! You’ve reached the point we've all been waiting for! We want you on our team! We’ll reach out and go over our offer, and make sure everything is clear and understood.

Hybrid Experience
Our US team is mostly client-facing working via a hybrid model combining remote work and engaging team meetings and activities throughout the year. We enjoy meeting each other for professional and social activities, like pumpkin carving, ziplining, crafting and volunteering. We eat lunch together every week so you can get to know your team members (they are great!) get comfortable, and feel at home.

Questions about joining vcita?
Typically, the process takes around 3 weeks from the first interview, but it can progress faster depending on your availability.We make all the efforts to provide a seamless interview experience for the candidates.
In order to best prepare for the interviews, we encourage you to think about what’s most important to you and what you’re looking for in your next role. We will take the time to discuss that and more throughout the process. And please, be yourself! We appreciate honesty and directness.Â
At vcita we work with a hybrid model, our offices are open 5 days a week and we meet weekly, monthly and quarterly depending on the team.
