Appointment Policy:
An appointment in our schedule is a bond of trust that we will be here to serve you and you will be present when an estimator comes to your home. We have a specific approach to our sales. An approach that doesn't involve high pressure or leaving you feeling obligated. We hope to answer any questions or ease any concern when it comes to your upcoming exterior project.

Our estimator has a 15-minute window upon arrival time. We will offer a courtesy call if the 15-minute window must be extended due to weather, traffic, or previous appointments. Once an appointment is made via Online Scheduling, Text, or Any of our other methods, expect a call from one of our Office staff to confirm the time and date as well as answer any questions.

Rescheduling Policy:
Giron Roofing Inc is committed to providing all of our customer with exceptional service. Please call us at (503) 438-7663 on the day prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations. To cancel a Monday appointment, please call our office by 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Over the Phone Estimate Policy:
We understand how important it is to be able to budget for your home exterior improvements. Many of our customers give us a call hoping for a 'ballpark' price estimate, whether it's for a new roofs, windows or painting. When we explain that we simply aren't able to give out those kinds of price estimates over the phone, it can understandably leave the caller a little frustrated by their inability to get a price quote without a visit from our estimators.

It's not that we don't want to help you out when it comes to pre-pricing a improvement project. It's that, ethically, we can't give you that number.

Consumer tips

■ Ensure that the contractors you're considering are licensed, insured and well-regarded by your friends and neighbors.

■ Get everything in writing, and read the entire contract, even the small print.

■ Using a credit card provides you with added protection to dispute a charge if the repair is not completed to your expectations. Paying a portion up front and the rest when the job is done also ensures your project will be completed.

■ Resist high-pressure sales tactics. If a salesperson tells you a deal is only available at that very moment or not at all, opt out.

■ Check to see whether the contractor has been disciplined or whether the license has been suspended or revoked.

■ Get at least two or three written estimates from different companies, and compare the services, materials and price.
